Alastair is a highly effective professional engineer, solutions architect, strategist and project manager for Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS). He is a Chartered Engineer (CEng) with over 30 years’ industry experience, which includes traffic information, monitoring, control and enforcement systems for general road traffic, as well as specialised systems for public transport and heavy vehicles.

Alastair graduated from the University of Leeds in 1991 with a Masters Degree (MEng) in Electrical and Electronic Engineering. He is a Member of the Institution of Engineering & Technology (MIET). Alastair is currently the Technical Director for Sensys Gatso Australia (part of the Sensys Gatso Group), based in their Sydney office.
