Dr Kian-Keong Chin spent more than 35 years in Singapore’s Public Service holding various engineering and management roles. He recently retired from the Land Transport Authority, as its Chief Engineer, Roads & Traffic. While having been involved in a broad spectrum of transportation initiatives and projects, his notable ones were in the field of ITS and in Singapore’s Electronic Road Pricing.

 

He is now a senior consultant with Singapore-based ST Engineering, focusing on ITS projects in its various international markets. Nevertheless, he remains active in Singapore’s ITS industry as an Advisor to the ITS Singapore Society and co-chairs Singapore’s ITS Standards Technical Committee. He also continues to share his experiences with engineering students as an Adjunct Professor in Singapore’s Nanyang Technological University.
