Greg Stanger is the General Manager of Activus Transport, located in the Sutherland Shire of NSW.  Greg believes that transportation of our elderly, those with a disability and the transport disadvantaged is a fundamental right and one that enables social connection to family and community. In addition to being the General Manager of Activus, Greg is a Board Member, in the capacity of Treasurer, for the Community Transport Organisation (CTO) which is the Peak body for Community Transport providers in NSW. 

 

Greg, never one to sit still for too long, is always looking for new and innovative ways to improve transport participation and social connections for consumers and recently won an award for ‘The Just for Blokes’ program.  This program is specifically designed to break down barriers of social isolation for men by facilitating outings designed by them for them.  ‘In an increasingly complex funding and compliance environment I believe integration, innovation and collaboration are where the best outcomes for our customers will be delivered’
