Professional Bio
Dr. Miguel Loyola started his career in Ecuador, where he first discovered his passion for transportation. With a background in civil engineering, Miguel served in key roles as both an engineer and government consultant, before furthering his studies at the Technion, Israel Institute of Technology. There, he delved deep into the science of travel behaviour and public transport, post which he enriched the sector as a transportation planner.
He received his PhD from the University of Sydney, where he used an interdisciplinary approach combining culture, behavioural science, and institutional frameworks to contribute towards sustainable transportation.
