Sabine Schubbe works as Advisor for European and International Affairs in the Senate Chancellery of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg. In the Department for European Affairs she is in charge of project development and supervising the implementation of several Horizon Europe projects. Sabine is German vice-chair and Hamburg representative in the National Board of the European Interreg North Sea Region Programme.
Her work focuses on initiating and sharpening international cooperation among cities and regions in the areas of urban mobility, climate change and climate adaptation. She is contributing to the cooperation between Canberra and Hamburg in the International Urban and Regional Cooperation (IURC).
She holds an Engineering Degree in both, Landscape Architecture (from University of Applied Science Osnabrück) and Urban Development (from Technical University Hamburg).
