Professional Bio
Sébastien Demmel is a Research Fellow at CARRS-Q where he completed his co-tutelle doctorate between QUT and the University of Versailles (France) in 2013 and has worked ever since. His research formerly focused on C-ITS but has now shifted to Automated Vehicles and their human factor problematics. He is the main expert driver for the ZOE2 AV and has delivered open road demonstrations in several cities in Queensland between 2019 and 2023.
