Dr. Thorsten Burger is heading Continental’s Public Affairs Department. The responsibilities cover the whole organization and administration of Continental public affairs and public funding topics globally, including representing Continental’s interest and funding policies in associations (e.g. ERTRAC, ERTICO, CCAM, 2Zero, EPoSS, CLEPA, VDA) and bringing together different partners and different stakeholders. Thorsten has more than 20 years of international experience in various management positions in the automotive industry and the public area – and in different companies and authorities. Prior to the appointment as head of Public Affairs, he led the Strategy development, implementation and execution of Continental Pre-Development Area for many years.
