The talk will provide an overview of the European Framework for data access in the mobility sector. This will include the European Stratgy for Data, the European Sustainable and Smart Mobility Strategy as well as the currently revised European ITS Directive.
Aside that overview the concept of "National Access Points" (NAP) to mobility data will be discussed including the currently harmonisation efforts untertaken within NAPCORE (National Access Point Coordination Organisation for Europe). Based on the exmple of the Austrian NAP a key focus will be on the needs of stakeholder interaction to achieve common understandings on needs and benefits of data access in Europe.
