Arcadis partnered with the San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency (SFMTA) to develop a digital twin and optimize multi-modal traffic across 11 intersections and 4 light rail stations near downtown San Francisco.  Results from this cutting-edge proof-of-concept show how sensors and sofware solutions positioned across a bustling neighborhood can improve public safety, reduce traffic delays, idling times and greenhouse gas emissions.
