For Public Transport Operators and Authorities, ITxPT is a game changer and staying on top of developments is critical to their business. 

The presentation will outline what ITxPT standards cover, how Public Transport is benefiting from this work, and how this flows into electric vehicle standards.  Examples will be provided where ITxPT standards are used in ANZ and internationally.

The not for profit, ITxPT organisation is made up from leading Public Transport Agencies, PT operators and Industry suppliers.  This group has defined standards for sharing of peripherals and data to enable interoperability between IT systems in Public Transport. These public specifications of an IT architecture are based on standards with open interfaces for on-board, over-the-air and back-office IT systems. The ITxPT standards are quickly gaining acceptance in Australia and Europe and ITxPT are actively working on expanding these standards to Electric vehicle data and infrastructure.

This presentation will bring members up to date with the ongoing ITxPT development in this area and provide updates on the electric vehicle interface standards as well as Passenger information and logon services.
