Dean is Seisma's Senior Transport consultant, with twenty years experience across all aspect of ITS and transport innovation.  He is currently working with Main Roads WA developing an ITS reference architecture based on EU FRAME. This work builds on Seisma's expertise in providing strategic advice and services to transport agencies on Enterprise Architecture, ICT, technology roadmaps, data analytics and innovation practice.

 

Dean has a parallel academic career with RACE 2030 and the Sustainable Built Environment National Research Centre where he is leading research into sustainable transport, transition of the grid to renewable energy, Net Zero built environment, and new transit technologies such as trackless trams.  

 

In previous roles Dean was Chief Transport Strategist for Telstra and Director Infrastructure, Transport and Logistics at CSIRO. He also co-founded on-demand mobility provider, Liftango.
