Fred Kalt is the Executive Vice President of Yunex Traffic Asia Pacific and the Managing Director in Singapore and Australia for Yunex Traffic – until recently a Siemens Business.

Fred held several Senior Management positions in Siemens with international assignments, e.g. in Germany, Nigeria, Vietnam, China, USA, Singapore and Australia.

His dedication to ITS goes back since he took over the Siemens’ ITS Unit in Beijing/China for Asia in 2005.

Since November 2021 he is elected to the Board of Directors for ITS Australia.

Since March 2022, he has been the President of the Intelligent Transportation Society Singapore. In this function he is also in the Board of Directors for the ITS Asia Pacific Association and the ITS World Congress.

Fred studied Information Technology and Electrical Engineering in Germany and has a passion for ITS-related innovations that drive the mobility industry in business and technology. In particular, he is passionate about the digitisation of ITS because it makes road networks and fleets safer and smarter for the benefit of people and the environment.
