Kevin Cocks AM is a well-respected champion of human rights with expertise focused on protecting the principles of dignity and equality for everyone. After sustaining a spinal injury as a young person, Kevin has dedicated his life to fighting for an inclusive, accessible and diverse Queensland through legislative and policy reform, and State-wide advocacy. Apart from being the former Queensland Anti-Discrimination Commissioner, Kevin has been awarded the Order of Australia (AM) 2010, Australian Human Rights Medal 2005 and the Centenary Medal 'for distinguished service to disability services in Queensland' in 2003.
