Ryszard has over 25 years’ experience in transport and road safety. He is skilled in a wide range of road safety related activities including, research, crash data analysis, the Safe System, Operational Safety Risk Evaluation and Road Safety Management Systems. He also as experience of policy development and the use of a data-based approach to making road safety-based decisions.

He has considerable knowledge of the safety and speed management treatments that can be applied on the local road network and their effectiveness.
