Simon has 25 years of experience in the roading industry including all aspects of asset management, maintenance and operations. With previous roles including both public and private sector roles, Simon is currently a Road Management Leader with GHD.  Simon’s main focus currently is on business improvement and transformation using his wide industry knowledge and his experience in business process design and the use of systems and data to support business activities and outcomes. An Intrapreneur, Simon is known for his pragmatic and ground up approach to embrace digital technology to improve asset management and operational outcomes.

Simon brings extensive knowledge and thought leadership across the whole of Roading Management combined with process, systems and data skills that deliver solutions to long term industry challenges.  He connects the industry vertically by equally being comfortable developing asset strategies as well as working on the detail preparing asset data standards.
