Trond has been ITS Norway's CEO (Intelligent Transportation Systems Norway) since 2009. Before that, he worked for almost 18 years for the Norwegian Public Roads Administration, holding several management positions and headed large ICT procurement projects in the road and traffic data sector.

 

Trond is keenly interested in organizational development and network-based innovation processes and has participated in international standardization committees for many years. Currently, he is chairing JWG11, set up to harmonize international standards between GIS and ITS.

 

With ITS Norway, Trond has worked hard to raise awareness of ITS and establish national structures for information exchange for seamless transportation services. 

 

Trond has a degree in Chemistry from the University of Bergen and has taken additional management and project management training at Norwegian Business School BI and NHH Norwegian School of Economics.
